Virtual Book Club
One of my favorite things to do is read! And better still is to share my love of books with others.
Welcome to our sixth year of connection, conversation, and community. After five years of reading together we are mixing things up! To give me time to focus on some other projects that need my time, I have scaled back on our books to once a season. This year I am offering four book discussions. In 2026 we will read: a self-help/political manifesto, personal growth, feminist theology/spirituality, and a historical thriller.
We are an unfussy group of readers: read the book, listen to it, or come to the conversation with only a chapter or two read. What matters most is that we are a community coming together to connect and share.
I try to choose books that are available in paperback, on Libby (free library service for books and audiobooks), and on Audible.
How it works:
Register below. You can join for one month, two, or register for the entire year (4 books).
$21 each month or $75 for the year
No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Email me @jmomoore@gmail.com for a special code to enter at checkout.
Read the book before our two-hour zoom call and come prepared to talk, listen, and learn from the ideas presented in each book. I will guide us in meaningful exploration of topics as we grow and learn together. Zoom calls are held on the last Wednesday of each month from 5:00pm -7:00pm PST. The zoom link will be sent via email before the scheduled meeting time along with discussion questions.
After each call, you will receive the recorded zoom meeting link to view our discussion. You also will receive an email filled with resources for deeper study as they relate to that month’s reading.
